Shipping Internationally is an art form

It's no secret that we ship all over the world and have built up quite the international clientele with our ship-at-cost shipping policy. Our shipping quotes benefit from our merchant volume rebates with our carrier and our unusual investment in time, space and money to carry a very large assortment of box sizes ( 62 and counting as of this writing). These allow us to provide the most efficient shipping costs possible. We also provide the dimensions and estimated weight of the shipment to our customers when providing our quotes. Accordingly, the customer can independently verify the cost with his choice of carriers.
The single biggest challenge we have found in shipping is the oversize constraints imposed by certain countries which limit the size of a box by regular postal channels. Check with us before ordering any large parts if your country's postal service enforces such limitations. Should such be the case, these may result in essentially two options to ship in a timely fashion:
a) use the large courrier companies' priority service, which is expensive, or
b) ask for brokers and courriers to bid on the shipment through different auction services on the internet.
We have used both alternatives. The bidding process has had some mixed results as substantial savings are the rule but the process does not always provide for immediate results and can be long and arduous, especially so for remote locations. We are very much open to customers arranging their own shipping in this way and will gladly assist in the process. We have invested much time and effort in making shipping to international destinations as cost effective and seamless as possible.
For our North American customers, our flat fee shipping fee remains well below our actual cost to ship, which combined with our store-wide discounted prices ( don't count on many of these to last much longer). provide for exceptional buying opportunities.
