Here is an installation tip from one of our customers:
The part that clips into the metal bracket on the bike is very very easy to snap. It's not plastic like the OEM one and because of this, is not flexible. I found that if you remove the metal bracket off the tank, which is easy (and it's tiny), then snap the clip into it, you can move it around easier and not force it . Then just let down the tank and the metal bracket with part already in will pop right on. Simple. Just thought maybe u want to know.

Great finish, fit could be better
These tank trim pieces look great and feel well made, however the fit on the bike leaves more to be desired. There are noticeable gaps betwwen the carbon fiber pieces and the tank. The stock parts had a slight gap, but these have twice that at least. Also, it took some playing with the alignmwnt of the pieces and couldn’t get both sides to match. None of this is noticed by the casual onlooker, but as someone who is spending money to customize details of a bike, it stands out. I was considering cutting down the mounting brackets and using epoxy to refit the carbon fiber but don’t want to risk making matters worse. Looks great (not perfect) as is.
